POMOZI.BA: Help Mensura Get Back on Her Feet

(Patria) - The Pomozi.ba association has launched an appeal for Mensura Mujkić, a 38-year-old mother from Tuzla, who has been fighting a difficult life battle in agony for four years. By calling 17042, you can donate 2 KM for her treatment.

Mensura went from being a healthy, active, and mobile woman to being bedridden and dependent on others' care today. Due to severe pain in her abdomen and pelvis, difficulties with movement, and performing basic life functions, she has undergone hundreds of examinations, received numerous diagnoses, and undergone several surgeries over the past four years. Unfortunately, her health condition has not improved but has worsened, and an exact diagnosis has not yet been established.

A year ago, with the help of Pomozi.ba's appeal and the support of kind-hearted people, Mensura managed to undergo examinations and surgeries in Turkey. Her uterus, part of her intestine, and both fallopian tubes and ovaries were removed, and diagnoses of rectocele and enterocele were established. Despite this and rehabilitation in spas, Mensura remains immobile, and her only hope now lies in an operation costing 20,000 EUR.

It is particularly difficult because Mensura is the mother of two boys, one of whom has developmental difficulties. With them and her mother, who supports them on a minimal pension, Mensura tries to maintain hope that she will return to her children and once again take on the role every mother desires – to be with them, care for them, and watch them grow up.
