
SARAJevo, (Patria) - Today marks the 27th anniversary of the massacre in which 26 fellow citizens were killed while waiting in line for bread in Sarajevo's Ferhadija street.
Three shells were fired from the Borije location.
26 people were killed and 108 wounded. The deceased were: Nedžad Abdija, Ismet Aščerić, Ruždija Bektešević, Snježana Biloš, Predrag Bogdanović, Vladimir Bogunović, Vasva Čengić, Gordana Čeklić, Mirsad Fazlagić, Emina Karamustafić, Mediha Omerović, Bahrija Pilav, Mila Ruždić, Mile Ružić, Hatidža Salić, Galib Sinotić, Abdulah Sarajlić, Sulejman Sarajlić, Sreten Stamenović, Srećko Šiklić, Božica Trajeri – Pataki, Vlatko Tanacković, Srećko Tanasković, Tamara Vejzagić – Kostić, Jusuf Vladović and Izudin Zukić.
At the site of the tragedy, numerous delegations paid tribute to the killed Sarajevans today.
The first to lay wreaths was the member of the Presidency of BiH Željko Komšić, a delegation of the Government of Sarajevo Canton, including the Minister for Veterans' Affairs Ismir Jusko, the Minister of Labour and Social Policy Malik Garibija, deputies of the KS Assembly, the Mayor of Sarajevo Abdulah Skaka, the president of the Platform for Progress Mirsad Hadžikadić.
