Political analysts: Poverty threatens due to crisis in government

If reforms are not implemented very soon and the citizens of BiH do not start living better, a social revolt will occur that no government in BiH will survive, warned analysts Žarko Papić, Enver Kazaz and Vlastimir Mijović while guests on TV1, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

Papić said that six months have been lost and that the essence is the fight for public resources, i.e., the distribution of matches in a general shell game.

- We live in a multi-party one-party system. It is good that democratic processes are opening up within the parties and that a crack has started to appear – Papić believes.

On the other hand, he warned that a social revolt is increasingly likely because the situation is radicalizing in people's minds.

- You have increased pressure on the media, the preparation of police forces, the strengthening of repressive mechanisms by the authorities, which could be the detonator of these processes. A class conflict is underway, but the centers of power should be sought in party headquarters.

All three agreed that the necessary reforms are painful, but that they clash with party interests.

The existing coalition in the FBiH is contaminated, and the coalition could fall apart at any second based on the number of votes, as was the case with the vote on the FBiH Budget.

Enver Kazaz believes that both coalitions (FBiH and at the BiH level) are burdened by very strong political animosity, especially between HDZ BiH and DF.

- This animosity will cause problems in the work of the FBiH Government, and it is possible that one party will leave the government. A difficult period awaits us, because another four years of government crisis means terrible poverty. We needed a 2/3 majority, and we got a coalition that hangs by two votes, an unstable majority.

Vlastimir Mijović said that the party leaderships have provided scapegoats, releasing new faces, unknown people who are just puppets on strings.

- The government will certainly not be harmonious, they are all cats in a bag. But on the other hand, this same government is afraid that the people will mature and start to revolt. People are preparing to settle scores with the governments, I am sure the people will react. I call on the youth to rise up, to fight, to fight those who terrorize you. We have political terrorism – Mijović believes.
