Politicians from RS attack Konaković, he responds: Cowardice masked by talk of mujahideen and Sharia

(Patria) - Several officials of the ruling SNSD have attacked the president of NIP, Elmedin Konaković, today. The Minister of Foreign Affairs criticized SNSD and Milorad Dodik for their secessionist rhetoric, and for a letter that several state parliamentarians sent to the USA, which contains dangerous claims about BiH, including claims about "Islamic militants" and "sleepers".

SNSD Vice-President Željka Cvijanović stated that it is politically wiser to refrain from grand words and empty qualifications. She called the NIP party a political dwarf and SNSD a giant.

Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations Staša Košarac stated that Konaković is trying to be pleasing to both the radical Islamic circle and the quasi-civic option.

"The question is how much sincerity there is in all of this and how consistent his policy is. In any case, he will be remembered by us for asking officials of RS, primarily President Dodik, to attack him so that his rating among Bosniaks would grow," said Košarac.

Konaković announced himself from Brussels on social networks. First this morning, in which he criticized the moves of SNSD, and then after the criticism from RS directed at him.

He provided data that the value of goods exported to the EU market is 13.2 billion KM.

"We exported goods worth approx. 3.1 billion KM to the countries of the region (Serbia, Montenegro, North Macedonia). EU + region = over 16.3 billion KM in exports. (approx. 90%). Besides the EU and the region, there are also Turkey (311 million KM) and Switzerland (256 million KM) USA (177 million KM). We export approx. 5% of goods from BiH to all other countries in the world. We export approx. 0.8% of goods to Russia and China combined. We export a little less to developing African countries, 0.5%.

The story of secession is a story of the rapid destruction of the economy of the smaller BiH entity.
Businessmen know this well. There is no new market and placement of goods and services, no incentives and political environment. All of this again leads to buying on credit, queues for gasoline, and other habits from the past when some other politicians dreamed of secession.

Throwing dust in the eyes and deceiving. Cowardice and neglect for people and their needs. Masked by talk of mujahideen and Sharia. These numbers are the truth, and the lives of people in the smaller BiH entity will be much better and easier if our ideas and plans are realized," stated Konaković.
