Police Officers of the USK MUP from Today Wear Uniforms Uniform for All in FBiH

(Patria) - After almost eight years, police officers of the Police Administration of the Ministry of Interior of the Una-Sana Canton (USK) and the Specialist Support Unit have received new service uniforms.

This represents a significant step forward in improving working conditions and strengthening professional standards of the police in this canton.



The procurement of new uniforms was carried out due to the wear and tear of the previous equipment, which no longer fully met the operational and safety requirements of police work.

The new uniforms are made in accordance with the Regulation on the common police uniform of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, from modern and durable materials, and are adapted to the needs of regular police officers and the Specialist Support Unit.



The ceremonial handover was attended by the Minister of Interior of USK Adnan Habibija, the leadership of the Police Administration, as well as chiefs and commanders of police administrations from the canton area.

Minister Habibija says that equipping the police is an investment in the safety of citizens and strengthening the institutions of the system.



- When I took office as minister, I said that it was my great desire for our police to look dignified and to be a mirror of the state in the right light.

Today, after almost eight years, that goal has been achieved because police officers have received new uniforms made in accordance with the highest standards and applicable regulations - Habibija stated.



As he emphasized, the new equipment has special significance for police officers who daily perform complex and responsible tasks, but also for citizens' trust in the police.

- As a police child, I know how much the uniform means to every police officer - it is a symbol of order, responsibility and the state. I am proud that we are leaving concrete results behind us and I thank all associates in the Ministry and the Police Administration, as well as the Government and Assembly of USK, for their support of this project - Habibija said.



The handover of new uniforms was assessed as another step in strengthening the capacities of the Police Administration of the MUP USK and improving overall security in the USK area.
