Police in Banja Luka ID-checked Stanivuković and citizens during protest walk over bus station

(Patria) - About 100 citizens and employees of the City Administration of Banja Luka gathered in protest at the Old Bus Station, an attractive piece of land in the city center, to prevent a second eviction and enforcement of the ruling of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which decided in favor of Autoprevoz, which arrived today with judicial police to execute the ruling.

"This is our land, even though the courts said something else and ruled in favor of crime," said the Mayor of Banja Luka, Draško Stanivuković, to the gathered citizens in the parking lot of the Old Bus Station.

"We demand everything and we fight, and justice and truth are on our side," stated Stanivuković, who walked through the parking lot with the citizens in protest.

Judicial enforcers of the District Commercial Court in Banja Luka arrived for the second time to put the company "Autoprevoz" into possession of the parking lot at the Old Bus Station.

Police officers ID-checked the mayor, after which they asked him why the City had not removed the toilet and billboards.

Representatives of the company "Autoprevoz" also attended the discussion.

The entire event was monitored by judicial police officers.
