(Patria) - Sarajevo police on Saturday, May 11, stopped and inspected a "Opel" motor vehicle in Muhamed Hadžijahić Street, Centar municipality, owned by H.A., driven by driver A.S. (1984) from Sarajevo.
During the inspection, police officers determined that the driver was operating the vehicle without a driving license.
Further checks in the RNK and PE records revealed that the individual has outstanding unpaid fines amounting to 44,736.20 KM, and is a repeat offender for traffic violations.
The vehicle in question was temporarily seized from the offender, and a request for initiating misdemeanor proceedings for committed violations under Article 184 of the Law on Road Traffic Safety in BiH will be submitted to the Misdemeanor Department of the Municipal Court in Sarajevo against the driver, as announced by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton Police Administration.
