Icy roads, drive carefully

(Patria) - In higher mountain areas, BIHAMK warns this morning about packed snow or ice on the road and advises maximum caution while driving. Also, ice is possible on bridges, viaducts, as well as tunnel approaches.

Meteorologists have announced rising temperatures starting today, which will accelerate snowmelt, and thus increase the danger of frequent rock and soil landslides onto the road.

We draw the attention of all traffic participants to be cautious while moving. Drivers, maintain distance between vehicles, avoid risky overtaking, and be mindful of pedestrians moving on the road in urban areas, due to sidewalks covered in snow and ice.

Fog reduces visibility on the Livno-Šuica and Tuzla-Kalesija road sections.

Passenger vehicle traffic is proceeding with short delays at border crossings.

Due to the registration of passengers under the new EU Entry/Exit System (EES), longer delays are possible at border crossings.

The Brčko border crossing is open for passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tons. As of December 2, 2025, the Karakaj border crossing is open for all vehicle categories. Traffic for all heavy goods vehicles is prohibited at the Šepak border crossing.
