Black ice on roads, caution advised while driving

In most of the country, roads are wet and locally slippery. In higher mountainous areas, there is 2 to 5 cm of packed snow on the road, BIHAMK reported, as carried by the Bosnian news agency Patria.

- We particularly highlight the following routes: Ripač-Vrtoče, Ključ-Bosanski Petrovac (Lanište), Drvar-Bosanski Petrovac (Oštrelj), Livno-Kupres, Tomislavgrad-Šuica and Glamoč-Mlinište. Additional difficulties for drivers in southwestern Bosnia are caused by occasional strong gusts of wind - the report stated.

Due to low morning temperatures, even in lower areas we warn of black ice on the road. Road maintenance crews are intervening on all sections, and we advise drivers to drive with utmost caution, to adapt their driving to current conditions and road state, and not to set out without winter equipment.
