ATTEMPTED ROBBERY Duško Tošić and his fitness coach attacked with knives and stones in Belgrade

SARAJevo, (Patria) - Duško Tošić, Andreja Milutinović, coordinator for physical preparation and rehabilitation of the Serbian national team players, and several other footballers were attacked this morning with knives and stones at Kalemegdan.

As unofficially learned, a group of young men wanted to rob them, reports Nova.rs.

The athletes were attacked while jogging early this morning. According to the Serbian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the local media, it is a group of young men who attacked and ambushed Tošić and Milutinović, threatening them with knives and stones.

They demanded money from them, but, as stated, the footballers managed to resolve and calm the situation somehow, and everyone remained unharmed.

The case has been reported to the police.
