Activities launched for construction of new boiler room in Vogošća worth 11 million KM

(Patria) - The Cantonal Public Utility Company (KJKP) Toplane Sarajevo submitted today a request for issuing an urban planning permit for the construction of a thermal energy facility - a boiler room with a connecting hot water pipeline in the municipality of Vogošća.

As previously announced by the Ministry of Public Utilities, Infrastructure, Spatial Planning, Construction and Environmental Protection of Sarajevo Canton, activities have been launched on the implementation of the project for the construction of a new boiler room in this municipality.

The project value amounts to 11 million convertible marks, and the goal of its implementation is a permanent solution to the heating problem in the area of the municipality of Vogošća.

The construction of the new boiler room will ensure stable, reliable and high-quality supply of thermal energy for more than 600 households, which are currently served by the company BAGS Energotehnika.

With the implementation of this project, the Ministry continues activities on the modernization and expansion of the district heating system, thereby significantly contributing to the improvement of public utility infrastructure, increasing energy efficiency and environmental protection in the area of Sarajevo Canton.
