Increased Vehicle Frequency, Warning of Rockfall Danger

Increased vehicle frequency, especially near larger urban centers. We advise drivers to drive slower and more cautiously on sections that pass through cuts, due to possible rockfalls, reports the news agency Patria.

Due to mining works on the M-16 Jajce-Banja Luka section at the HE Bočac 2 site, traffic will be temporarily suspended from 11:00 to 11:30 and from 13:30 to 14:00. On the same section, due to the climbing festival at the Tijesno canyon site, traffic will be suspended from 11:00 to 11:30.

A complete traffic suspension due to bridge dismantling works is in effect on the R-467 Ribnica-Maoča-Olovo section.

Among roads with ongoing works, we highlight: the A-1 motorway sections Sarajevo North-Podlugovi (M04 bridge) and Sarajevo North-Vlakovo (Reljevo viaduct), as well as the main roads: Jablanica-Prozor, Doboj-Gračanica, Čelinac-Kotor Varoš, Jajce-Banja Luka, Brod na Drini-GP Hum, Čapljina-Stolac and Konjic-Jablanica, and the northern entrance to Mostar and the passage through Mostar.

We ask drivers to drive carefully and to strictly follow the temporarily placed traffic signs. According to information collected from the Border Police of BiH, waiting times at border crossings are no longer than 20 minutes, BIHAMK announced.
