Increased vehicle frequency at border crossings

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Increased vehicle frequency is observed at the exits from BiH at the Doljani, Hum, Velika Kladuša, and Izačić border crossings, while at other border crossings there is currently no waiting longer than 30 minutes.

Increased vehicle frequency is also expected today on other roads in our country, especially at popular excursion sites. BIHAMK advises drivers to drive cautiously, adapted to the current road conditions. Truck drivers are asked to temporarily pull over when they notice a long line of passenger vehicles behind them, in order to avoid unnecessary and risky overtaking.

Traffic is alternating, one lane at a time, through the Vranduk II tunnel on the M-17 Zenica-Nemila main road. Due to occasional increased traffic during the day, longer queues may form in both directions on this section. Traffic for trucks with a total weight exceeding 7.5 tons is prohibited on the bypass road through the settlement of Tetovo (R-445 Nemila-Tetovo-Zenica).

Due to renovation works, traffic is suspended on the regional road R-425a Tromeđa-Zvirovići (for all vehicles, except construction site vehicles and local residents).

For safety reasons, traffic for trucks and buses is suspended on the roads to and from the Brčko-Gunja border crossing bridge.
