Increased frequency of freight vehicles in both directions at the Bosanska Gradiška border crossing

(Patria) - Due to low temperatures this morning, drivers are warned of possible black ice, especially in mountainous areas, as well as on bridges, viaducts and tunnel approaches, BIHAMK says.

We also draw attention to frequent landslides of earth or rocks and remind that possession of winter equipment is legally mandatory until April 15.

On all sections, we advise extremely cautious driving, adapted to road conditions.

There is an increased frequency of freight vehicles in both directions at the Bosanska Gradiška border crossing, as well as at the entrance to Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Karakaj border crossing.

At other border crossings, there are no longer delays.

Entry into Bosnia and Herzegovina is not allowed for foreign nationals, with the exception of certain categories of people (health workers, persons in need of medical treatment, cross-border workers, civil protection services and teams, members of NATO forces and other Partnership for Peace countries, as well as the NATO Headquarters in Bosnia and Herzegovina, persons with residence in Bosnia and Herzegovina, persons in transit through Bosnia and Herzegovina without stopping, and persons who have a permit issued by the Council of Ministers).

Serbia has closed border crossings towards Bosnia and Herzegovina for all crossings, except for goods traffic which takes place via the crossings: Karakaj, Vardište and Rača.

Entry into Croatia and Montenegro is allowed only for their nationals, foreigners with registered residence, and drivers of freight vehicles.

A complete ban on movement in Bosnia and Herzegovina is in effect from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM.

We appeal to drivers to travel within Bosnia and Herzegovina only in necessary situations and to adhere to coronavirus protection measures.
