Increased Traffic Frequency in BiH

(Patria) - The beginning of the work week brings increased traffic frequency, especially in narrower city centers. The road surface is mostly wet or dry, and due to frequent landslides, we advise special caution on the sections: Turbe-Banja Luka, Crna Rijeka-Mrkonjić Grad, Sarajevo-Foča-Šćepan Polje, and Višegrad-Ustiprača-Rogatica. We also warn of reduced visibility due to fog in valleys and along river courses. Drive carefully and obey all traffic regulations.

Construction is underway on the A-1 highway section Podlugovi-Sarajevo sjever, as well as on the main roads: Konjic-Jablanica (near the Crnaja tunnel), Jablanica-Prozor (Duge and Mirci settlements), Semizovac-Olovo, Jajce-Crna Rijeka, and Gacko-Foča (in Sastavci).

We remind you that traffic for all vehicles up to 3.5 tons of total mass is allowed on the main road Jablanica-Blidinje.

At border crossings, waiting times for passenger vehicles are no longer than 30 minutes. Brčko border crossing is open for passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tons.

Please note that waiting times at border crossings are subject to frequent changes. Drivers have access to video surveillance cameras on our website www.bihamk.ba.

Traffic is prohibited for vehicles over 5 tons of maximum allowed mass at the Karakaj border crossing (near Zvornik). Trucks over 5 tons are redirected to Bratunac or Rača border crossings, while buses can use Šepak border crossing. Trucks can travel through Šepak border crossing from 09:00 to 13:00 and from 22:00 to 06:00 (on weekends, they can cross between 22:00 and 06:00).
