Increased traffic, roadworks on several main routes

(Patria) - At the start of the working week, increased vehicle frequency is recorded, especially near city centers, causing short delays and slower traffic during morning and afternoon hours.

Drivers are advised to exercise particular caution near school facilities due to the increased presence of children in traffic. The road surface is mostly dry, while it is locally wet on sections with fog, particularly in valleys and along river courses.

Roadworks are causing changes in driving patterns on several main routes:

M-16 Jajce–Crna Rijeka – due to slope remediation, traffic alternates, controlled by traffic lights.

M-17 Konjic–Jablanica (behind the Crnaja tunnel) – bridge rehabilitation, traffic flows in one lane, also regulated by traffic lights.

A1 Podlugovi–Sarajevo north, and the main roads Semizovac–Olovo and Jablanica–Prozor – works are underway.

We remind that on the main road Jablanica–Blidinje, traffic is permitted for all vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes total weight.

At border crossings, the longest wait is at the exit from Bosnia and Herzegovina in Gradiška, where a long line of passenger vehicles has formed. At other crossings, delays do not exceed 30 minutes. The Brčko border crossing is open for passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes.

Drivers are recommended to respect traffic regulations, reduce speed in conditions of reduced visibility, and exercise increased caution in school zones and pedestrian crossings.
