Traffic of freight vehicles is increased in both directions at the Bosanska Gradiška border crossing

(Patria) - There is packed snow and ice this morning on sections over mountain passes, so we call for increased caution. We particularly highlight sections in the western and southwestern regions. Strong winds are creating snowdrifts on the Bihać-Bosanski Petrovac and Bosanski Petrovac-Drvar routes.

We remind you that possessing winter equipment is legally mandatory until April 15. Due to winter driving conditions in Croatia, the Izačić-Ličko Petrovo Selo border crossing is closed for trucks with trailers and semi-trailers.

Traffic of freight vehicles is increased in both directions at the Bosanska Gradiška border crossing, and a column of freight vehicles is long at the Bosanski Šamac border crossing on exit from BiH.

Serbia has closed border crossings with BiH for all entries, except for freight traffic which is carried out through the following crossings: Karakaj, Vardište, and Rača.

Entry into Croatia and Montenegro is allowed only for their citizens, foreigners with registered residence, and truck drivers.

A movement ban for persons under 18 and over 65 years of age is in effect in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and a complete movement ban is in effect from 6 PM to 5 AM. In the Republika Srpska, movement is prohibited for persons over 65 years of age, while a complete movement ban is in effect from 8 PM to 5 AM.

We appeal to drivers to travel within Bosnia and Herzegovina only in necessary situations and to adhere to coronavirus protection measures.
