(Patria) - Due to the BiH - Italy match being played tonight at 8:45 PM, traffic intensity towards Zenica is increased from all directions, BIHAMK announced.
Sections of the A-1 highway are particularly notable, where the approach to the Zenica jug and Zenica sjever exits is burdened by an increased number of vehicles.
Driving on the main roads towards Zenica, especially from the direction of Sarajevo, Doboj, Travnik, and Kakanj, is difficult due to the increased number of vehicles and occasional delays.
On local roads in Zenica, particularly at the entrances to the city center, roundabouts, and approaches to the Bilino Polje stadium, there are greater crowds and occasional delays. Public parking in Zenica is free for all match visitors.
We recommend drivers to follow the instructions of the police and stewards on the ground. We appeal for careful and patient driving while respecting traffic regulations.
Operational services are monitoring the situation on the ground and will regulate traffic at critical points as needed, with a special focus on the approaches to the stadium and main city intersections.
Movement of all vehicles across the bridge on the Dobro Polje-Miljevina main road is prohibited. Vehicles with a total mass of up to 3.5 tons can use the roads over Grepak or Kalinovik (there is 19 km of gravel road), while trucks must use the roads via Rogatica and Ustiprača.
On sections of the A-1 highway Sarajevo sjever-Podlugovi and A-1 Sarajevo zapad-Lepenica, traffic is redirected to the overtaking lane due to necessary works.
Due to repair works on the expansion joints of the bridge on the M-17 Konjic-Tarčin main road (before the Bradina tunnel), traffic is redirected from the driving lane to the overtaking lane.
Due to construction works on the Tomislavgrad-Prisoje main road, traffic is proceeding in one lane with traffic lights operating 24/7.
On the Jablanica-Blidinje main road, traffic is allowed for vehicles up to 3.5 tons, while traffic for vehicles over 3.5 tons is still suspended.
At border crossings, delays are currently up to 30 minutes.
Due to passenger registration under the new system for entering and exiting European Union countries (EES, Entry/Exit System), longer delays at border crossings are possible.
The Brčko border crossing is open for passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tons. From December 2, 2025, the Karakaj border crossing will be open for all categories of vehicles. Traffic for all trucks is prohibited at the Šepak border crossing.
