Increased traffic intensity at the entrance to BiH at several border crossings

(Patria) - Increased traffic intensity for passenger vehicles at the entrance to Bosnia and Herzegovina at the border crossings: Izačić, Velika Kladuša, Hadžin potok, Kostajnica, Gradina, Gradiška, Brod, Orašje and Šepak. At other border crossings, passenger vehicle traffic flows with delays of up to 30 minutes.

Due to major damage, on the Tuzla-Bijeljina main road (Banj Brdo - near the village of Seljublje), passenger vehicles are moving with difficulty, while traffic for freight vehicles is suspended.

Due to the overflowing of the Bosna River, traffic has been suspended on the Maglaj-Doboj regional road (in the village of Donja Paklenica) and in the village of Liješnica (the underpass at the entrance to Maglaj is impassable).

Due to the overflowing of the Spreča River, traffic has been suspended on the Suha-Ljubače regional road (near "Prezident").

On the Zvornik–Priboj regional road (in the village of Goduš), traffic is moving slowly in one lane.

We warn drivers to drive with maximum caution on all road routes and to adjust their driving to current road conditions. If you are traveling longer distances, take frequent breaks. Protect your life and the lives of other traffic participants.

Movement of all vehicles is prohibited over the bridge on the Dobro Polje-Miljevina main road. Vehicles with a total weight of up to 3.5 tons can use roads via Grepak or Kalinovik (there is 19 km of gravel road), while freight vehicles must travel via Rogatica and Ustiprača.

Due to road surface rehabilitation works on the A-1 motorway section Kakanj-Lašva, over a length of 3 km, the left side of the motorway is closed. During the works, vehicles are directed in two-way traffic on the right side, direction Lašva-Kakanj.

Due to necessary works on sections of the A-1 motorway Sarajevo north-Podlugovi and Sarajevo west-Lepenica, traffic has been redirected to the overtaking lane.

Due to works on the repair of expansion joints on the bridge on the M-17 main road Konjic-Tarčin (before the Bradina tunnel), traffic has been redirected from the driving lane to the overtaking lane.

Due to works on the Tomislavgrad-Prisoje main road, traffic is moving in one lane with traffic lights installed.

On the Jablanica-Blidinje main road, traffic is allowed for vehicles up to 3.5 tons, while traffic for vehicles over 3.5 tons remains suspended.

Due to passenger registration under the new system for exiting and entering European Union countries (EES, Entry/Exit System), longer delays at border crossings are possible.

The Brčko border crossing is open for passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tons. As of December 2, 2025, the Karakaj border crossing is open for all vehicle categories. At the Šepak border crossing, traffic is prohibited for all freight vehicles.
