See what a luxury vehicle fleet the Turkish police have

(Patria) - Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya released a video showcasing the new vehicle fleet of the traffic police.

These are cars that were seized by the Turkish police last month and converted into police pursuit vehicles.

Media outlets report that the cars belonged to a drug trafficker named Hakan Ayik, the leader of the Australia-based Comanchero Motorcycle gang, whose wealth is estimated at one billion dollars.

Ayik and 36 of his associates were arrested last month in Istanbul.

The police confiscated a total of 23 vehicles from them, ranging from luxury models such as the Bentley Continental GT and Porsche Taycan, to sports cars like the Ferrari 458.

The Turkish police's vehicle fleet was also enriched by a Volkswagen Golf R, a Range Rover Sport, and a Mercedes-Benz GLS.

The total value is estimated at around three million euros.

- As a result of successful operations carried out by our Istanbul police against organized crime groups, 23 vehicles were seized.

By court order, these vehicles were handed over to our police - stated Turkish Minister Yerlikaya.
