(Patria) - One person died in an accident that occurred today at the Rupice mine in Vareš.
According to information received by the "Avaz" portal from the Operational Centre of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, the accident happened around 11:35 AM when a concrete mixer overturned.
"K. B. from Kakanj died. An investigation is still underway under the supervision of the cantonal prosecutor, and a mining inspector is also at the scene," the Operational Centre of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of ZDC stated.
Let us remind you, the zinc, barite, and lead mine Rupice, owned by Adriatic Metals, near Vareš, was opened in March of this year.
