Support for every form of union struggle

The Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Bosnia and Herzegovina has been pointing out for a long time the problem of unconnected work experience for thousands of workers in Bosnia and Herzegovina, dubious privatizations, enrichment of individuals at the expense of workers, and violation of basic workers' and human rights, reports the Patria News Agency.

- We have also submitted many other positions and demands in the form of documents to all levels of government in the Federation of BiH, asking them to urgently adopt laws and other acts to resolve these issues. Unfortunately, they have not been receptive, so the situation in the Federation of BiH has been and is becoming increasingly difficult every day. It has particularly escalated in the Tuzla Canton, which was once the pride and center of industry not only in our country but also in the region - the statement reads.

The Federation of Independent Trade Unions of BiH supports every form of union struggle and fully places all its resources in the Tuzla Canton at the disposal of workers seeking solutions to their problems.

- The Cantonal Board of SSSBiH TK, all branch unions, and trade union organizations operating in that area are at their disposal. At the same time, we appeal and ask the Assembly of the Tuzla Canton to form an executive government as soon as possible, which will have the capacity and be willing to tackle the current situation in TK. We call on them to forget about political bargaining, disagreements, etc., and to prioritize caring about how to be available to all citizens, especially workers in the Tuzla Canton. We also call on other assemblies/parliaments at all levels to form executive governments as soon as possible and start addressing the accumulated problems of workers throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina - the statement says.
