(Patria) - A working meeting was organized at the premises of the Ministry for Veterans' Affairs of Zenica-Doboj Canton (ZDK) with representatives of the Sport Fishing Club "Bosna" Maglaj and the Sports Federation of Disabled Persons of ZDK.
The meeting summarized the results from the previous year, as well as plans for the upcoming World Championship in which the Sport Fishing Club "Bosna" Maglaj will participate.
- This ministry, in addition to the regular activities of sports federations and clubs for disabled persons, co-finances the organization of domestic and international tournaments and events through special programs.
This year, we have increased funds for sports for disabled persons in ZDK, which clearly shows the Government's attitude towards this group of the veteran population.
Our goal is for our disabled persons to overcome daily challenges more easily through sports activities and to contribute to themselves and the community as a whole through a healthy lifestyle - stated the Minister for Veterans' Affairs of ZDK Adnan Sirovica.
He wished the representatives of the Sport Fishing Club "Bosna" Maglaj much luck at the upcoming World Championship and expressed his gratitude for representing Bosnia and Herzegovina in the best light on the international stage.
He also stated that the support of the Ministry for Veterans' Affairs will not be lacking in the future.
The World Championship of fishing for disabled persons and veterans will be held from June 1 to 7 in Ivanec (Croatia).
