Indictment filed against Rajko Milić and others for the crime of genocide

(Patria) - The Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina has filed an indictment against Rajko Milić, born in 1951 in Zenica, Miodrag Pavlović nicknamed Mijo, born in 1957 in Kozluk, Radenko Zarić Radenko, born in 1965 in Bratunac, Vukašin Drašković, born in 1973, in Zvornik, and Milan Tomić, born in 1967 in Loznica, Serbia.

The indictment states that in July 1995, the accused, as members of the Military Police of the Zvornik and Bratunac Brigades, participated in the capture and forced detention of more than 829 Bosniak men and boys in the gymnasium of the school in the settlement of Roćević in the municipality of Zvornik.

The accused Pavlović Miodrag is charged with killing several detainees with cold weapons, and the other accused participated in the transport and execution of prisoners at the gravel pit site on the banks of the Drina River in the settlement of Kozluk.

The accused are charged with committing the criminal offense of genocide under the Criminal Code of BiH, it was announced from the Prosecutor's Office of BiH.
