Podgorica woman hid 1.2 kilograms of speed in her bag

Podgorica resident Tanja Raičković (20) was arrested yesterday morning at the Dobrakovo border crossing for drug smuggling, reports the Patria News Agency.

Police suspect that she, travelling on a bus that operated on the Belgrade - Herceg Novi route, attempted to smuggle about 1.2 kilograms of speed, about 200 grams of amphetamine, and five cannabis seeds from Serbia into Montenegro.

Raičković fully admitted to the crime she was charged with during her hearing before the Deputy Senior Prosecutor in Bijelo Polje, Hasan Lukač.

She told the prosecutor that she knew she was carrying drugs. After the hearing, Lukač ordered her detention for up to 72 hours, writes the Podgorica-based Vijesti.
