(Patria) - In accordance with the Instructions on deadlines and the order of electoral activities for direct elections for the General Elections 2026, today at 4:00 PM the deadline for submitting applications for the certification of political parties and independent candidates to participate in the General Elections 2026, which will be held on Sunday, October 4th, expires.
A preliminary overview of the submitted applications of political parties and independent candidates will be published on the website of the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina under the link “General Elections 2026” after the data is updated.
The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in accordance with the deadlines set in the aforementioned Instructions, will conduct checks and certify the applications of those political entities that meet the legally prescribed conditions.
After that, the conditions will be met for submitting applications for the certification of coalitions or lists of independent candidates. Namely, the deadline for submitting applications for the certification of coalitions and lists of independent candidates is from June 8th to June 16th, 2026, until 4:00 PM.
