FIFA Club World Cup begins

The winner of the Tigres-Ulsan match will play Palmeiras, the winner of the South American Copa Libertadores, in the semi-finals on February 7, and the winner of the Al-Duhail-Al Ahly duel will face the Champions League winner, Bayern Munich, in the semi-finals the following day.

The matches for third place and the final will be played on February 11.

Auckland City had previously withdrawn its candidacy and participation in the Club World Cup, and the host Qatari Al-Duhail thus secured direct participation.

The Club World Cup was supposed to be held in December 2020, but was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
