(Patria) - Classes for the second semester of the 2025/26 school year begin today in all schools in the Bosnian-Podrinje Canton (BPK) Goražde.
A total of 2,699 students are returning to school, of whom 1,942 are in six primary schools and 757 are in three secondary schools.
The responsible minister, Adisa Alikadić-Herić, confirmed that everything is ready for the classes to proceed, in accordance with the previously established school calendar.
- During January, the tender procedure for the engagement of necessary teaching staff was also successfully completed so that we have professionally represented teaching.
A series of trainings were also conducted, during which educators had the opportunity to upgrade their knowledge and master new skills - added Alikadić-Herić.
Classes in the current school year will last until June 12, except for first-graders and graduating students, who will finish seven days earlier.
