April payment of child benefits and maternity allowances begins

(Patria) - The Ministry of Labour, Social Policy, Displaced Persons and Refugees of Sarajevo Canton informs that the payment of April financial benefits to municipal services on behalf of users who have realized rights based on the protection of families with children in Sarajevo Canton will begin today.

For this purpose, the relevant ministry has allocated funds in the amount of 2,437,687.68 KM. The aforementioned funds are allocated for 20,146.00 beneficiaries of the right to: child benefit, compensation instead of salary for a woman-mother in employment while absent from work due to pregnancy, childbirth and childcare, financial aid during pregnancy and childbirth for a woman-mother not in employment, health care for child benefit beneficiaries, accommodation of children in preschool institutions, aid for feeding a child up to six months and additional nutrition for a nursing mother, and one-time aid for the equipment of a newborn.
