Protective fence installation begins on the eastern side of the City Hall

As part of the landscaping of the exterior of the City Hall, work is currently underway to install a protective fence in front of the eastern facade of the City Hall on Telali Street, reports the Patria News Agency. 

Since the City Hall renovation project did not include exterior landscaping, the City Administration initiated a project for paving the sidewalk and installing a protective fence.

It is a stainless steel fence with panels and a handrail, which is being installed to protect the facade and pedestrians, especially during the winter period. The fence will be 105 cm high, 72 m long, with a 3m sliding gate at the entrance from Telali Street.

In addition to the fence, approximately 80m2 of granite cubes will be laid during this period, and laying cubes on the remaining part of the sidewalk is planned for a later period.

The installation of the fence has been approved by the Institute for the Protection of Monuments within the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports. The works were initiated by the City Administration of Sarajevo, the investor is the Directorate for Roads, and the contractor is KJKP RAD, it was announced from the City Administration.
