In the sports hall of Sarajevo's FIS, on Thursday, February 19th, the first matches of the volleyball competition for boys - elementary school students from the Centar Municipality, which is the organizer and implementer of the competition, were played. The volleyball teams were divided into three groups - A, B, and C, reports the Patria News Agency.
Six matches were played between the teams of group A, and the following results were achieved:
Elementary School ''Isak Samokovlija'' – Elementary School ''Nafija Sarajlić'' 2:0; Elementary School ''Safvet-beg Bašagić'' - Elementary School ''Silvije Strahimir Kranjčević'' 2:0; Elementary School ''Safvet-beg Bašagić'' - Elementary School ''Nafija Sarajlić'' 2:0; Elementary School ''Isak Samokovlija'' – Elementary School ''Silvije Strahimir Kranjčević'' 2:0; Elementary School ''Nafija Sarajlić'' - Elementary School ''Silvije Strahimir Kranjčević'' 2:0; Elementary School ''Safvet-beg Bašagić'' – Elementary School ''Isak Samokovlija'' 2:0.
The first place in group A was won by the team of Elementary School ''Safvet-beg Bašagić'' with six points, while the second place with four points went to the team of Elementary School ''Isak Samokovlija''.
Students of Elementary School ''Nafija Sarajlić'' won two points and third place in the group, while the last-placed team was from ''Silvije Strahimir Kranjčević'' school, which did not manage to win any points.
The volleyball team of Elementary School ''Safvet-beg Bašagić'' qualified for the finals of the competition, which will be held in March this year, as announced by the Centar Municipality.
