Session of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Begins

The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina will, at its 19th session which began today in Sarajevo, consider the Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on the Default Interest Rate on Public Revenues, aimed at extending the deadlines within which it is possible to exercise the right to write off interest arising from overdue, reported, but uncollected public revenues.

The Report of the Working Group on the control of certain decisions made based on the Public Call for the allocation of funds for the implementation of requests within the rural development model - capital investments and investments will be reviewed.

Government members will express their views on the initiative to secure 11,000,000 euros through a credit arrangement with the Council of Europe Development Bank for the implementation of the Project "Construction of the Regional Water Supply System Plava Voda", as well as on the Draft Public Investment Program of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the period from 2016 to 2018.

Information will also be considered on the implementation so far of the Project for the exploration and exploitation of oil and gas in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as on the application of the Law on the Control of Legality of the Use of Rights in the Area of Veteran and Disability Protection for the period from January 1 to June 30, 2015, and on the situation in the field of plant health in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2014.

At the proposal of its Public Relations Office, the agenda includes proposals for the Communication Plan of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina 2015-2018 and the Communication Action Plan for 2015.
