Council of Ministers session started, Bevanda at the session

(Patria) - Ministers from the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ BiH) arrived at today's session of the Council of Ministers of BiH, where the Proposal for a decision on temporary financing of BiH institutions is to be discussed.

This decision relates to the period from July to September 2019 and will enable the regular financing of BiH institutions until the budget for this year is adopted. After this decision expires, the Council of Ministers of BiH can adopt another decision on temporary financing if the Presidency of BiH has not submitted the Budget Proposal for 2019 to the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH by then, or if the legislator does not adopt the budget by September.

The Croatian National Assembly (HNS), headed by Dragan Čović, the party leader of the Minister of Finance and Treasury, called on the Council of Ministers of BiH today to adopt the decision on temporary financing. The call was also extended to the ruling political parties at the level of BiH institutions to complete the process of appointing a new convocation of the Council of Ministers of BiH as soon as possible.

Civil servants employed in BiH institutions yesterday threatened to strike if the state government did not urgently adopt the decision on temporary financing.
