The Presidency of BiH will begin consultations with leaders of parliamentary parties regarding the nomination of a candidate for the new composition of the Council of Ministers of BiH.
As is already known, this is a usual procedure, behind which lie inter-party agreements, and Mladen Ivanić, Dragan Čović, and Bakir Izetbegović will receive ready-made proposals of party demands for specific ministries, not just for the candidate, writes the BiH news agency Patria.
According to what can be learned at this moment from the leaderships of the parties that signed the agreement to form the state government SDA- DF- Alliance for Changes RS- HDZ BiH, inter-party talks and trading are underway.
So, according to the latest information, the prime minister will be from SDA and Denis Zvizdić is reportedly coming to that position.
The Alliance for Changes RS, to which three ministries have been allocated, will seek the Ministry of Security of BiH for Dragan Mektić (SDS), the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations for Mirko Šarović (SDS), while the leader of PDP, Mladen Ivanić, is in "trouble" because he is allegedly offered the Ministry of Finance, for which his candidate Igor Crnadak (former Deputy Minister of Defense of BiH) has no experience.
Given that the leader of HDZ BiH, Dragan Čović, shows a desire for both the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where he would place Vjekoslav Bevanda and Željana Zovko, who are currently deputy chairpersons of the Council of Ministers of BiH from these two ministries, it remains to be seen whether they will be allocated to him.
It could very easily happen that Crnadak takes the position of Minister of Defense, for which he has experience. But on the condition that SDA does not seek this ministry, and that in that case SDA and the Alliance for Changes RS leave these two strong and significant ministries to Čović.
In that case, an agreement would be made, that as it was during the time when Sadik Ahmetović led the Ministry of Security, the second deputy chairperson would be Dragan Mektić.
This would satisfy the national balance, so that the chairperson and two deputy chairpersons come from three different nations.
Željko Komšić's Democratic Front has "marked" the Ministry of Civil Affairs.
In such a distribution, the Party of Democratic Action would be left with the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry for Human Rights and Refugees, and the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
Adil Osmanović, vice-president of SDA and a representative in the National Assembly of RS, is very interested in the Ministry for Refugees and Human Rights, but whether he will get it will depend on Bakir Izetbegović, Denis Zvizdić, and Aljoša Čampara, who "call the shots" in SDA.
ROTATION IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES
Halid Genjac, SDA state representative in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament, is moving to the House of Peoples where he will be in the leadership of this house, and Mirsad Mujić will receive the mandate instead of him.
The Democratic Front sought the position of director of the Service for Joint Affairs, currently held by Ferid Buljubašić (SDP).
