Prisoner escaped from KPZ Mostar, extensive search underway!

(Patria) - This morning, a prisoner escaped from the Penitentiary in Mostar, it was unofficially confirmed for Vijesti.ba.

According to information obtained by this media outlet, the prisoners were in the prison yard during their walk at the time of the escape.

One of them allegedly climbed the bars and jumped over the fence, after which he left the prison complex.

We were told that this is a detainee who is a citizen of the Republic of Croatia and who is in prison for committing serious robbery offenses.

Immediately after the escape, an extensive search was launched, involving police and other competent services.

The prisoner has not been found yet, and the search is still ongoing.

More information is expected during the day.
