Around 3,000 runners from about 30 countries participated in the ninth Sarajevo Half Marathon, and there was no shortage of good spirits despite the rain and cold, writes the BiH news agency Patria.
Participants had a joint warm-up before the competition, and the start of the race was officially marked by the British Ambassador to BiH Edward Ferguson.
The 21 km race was a challenge for both the slightly older and the younger participants who decided to take part this year. The lower age limit was 14 years.
Hungarian Tamas Nagy is the winner of the ninth Sarajevo Half Marathon, and Olivera Jevtić from Serbia won in the women's competition.
