SFF FRUITS Record Number of Tourist Arrivals and Overnight Stays in KS

(Patria) - President of the Sarajevo Canton Tourist Board Haris Fazlagić stated that the statistics of the Sarajevo Canton Tourist Board show that during the Sarajevo Film Festival, nearly 40,000 arrivals and over 83,000 overnight stays were recorded in Sarajevo Canton.

According to statistical data, Sarajevo Canton was the most visited during this year's 30th edition of the Sarajevo Film Festival compared to all previously recorded statistics of tourist arrivals and overnight stays in recent years.

President of the Sarajevo Canton Tourist Board Haris Fazlagić stated that the statistics of the Sarajevo Canton Tourist Board show that during the Sarajevo Film Festival, nearly 40,000 arrivals and over 83,000 overnight stays were recorded in Sarajevo Canton.

The number of tourist arrivals during the 2024 Sarajevo Film Festival, compared to the period of the 2023 SFF, increased by 16.5 percent, while compared to 2022, the increase was 55.8 percent, and compared to 2019, it was 71.9 percent.

The number of tourist overnight stays during the 2024 Sarajevo Film Festival, compared to the period of the 2023 SFF, increased by 8.5 percent, while compared to 2022, the increase was 46 percent, and compared to 2019, it was 64.9 percent.

The majority of tourists were from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia, Montenegro, Germany, Austria, Italy, Sweden, and Turkey.
