(Patria) - Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković, and previously his lackey Gordan Grlić Radman in Dayton, repeated the old and utterly untrue mantra: Croatia saved Bosnia and Herzegovina!

How inaccurate that is, even the average bird on a branch knows.

And they know it, for example, at the Central Intelligence Agency of the United States of America.

One CIA report clearly confirms this!

The CIA writes that in the summer of 1995, the forces of the Croatian Army were quite disorganized.

It is stated that General Petar Stipetić was brought to the head of the army to reorganize the Croatian Army.

At that time, HV troops were on the defensive.

They suffered constant attacks from the army of the so-called "Republic of Serbian Krajina" and were unable to take the initiative.

And then the forces of the 5th Corps, the 501st and 502nd Brigades, carried out a surprising operation that enabled a complete turnaround!

"The 502nd Mountain Brigade bypassed the United Nations observation posts on the border of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia at midnight on August 5 in the area northwest of Bihać in the middle of the night, quickly advancing and entering the zone of responsibility of the 15th Corps of the 'RSK', coming from the rear.

They quickly captured the town of Ličko Petrovo Selo, and the brigade continued to advance, capturing other settlements and inexorably penetrating through the area of the Plitvice Lakes, a famous tourist area that became the scene of one of the first battles in the Yugoslav wars.

Members of the 5th Corps were already 10 km deep into Croatian territory by 8 a.m.," the report states.

Only 3 hours later, the forces of the Croatian Army moved.

By then, on the other side, the strategically important radar and the peaks of Mount Plješevica were largely in the hands of the 501st Brigade.

This unit, the CIA further writes, began to penetrate deeper into the territory of the 'RSK' from these points and was on its way to occupying Korenica, the headquarters of the 15th Corps of the rebel Croatian Serb forces.

The CIA in its report writes that the Serbian forces recovered relatively quickly from the surprise attack and began to offer stronger resistance in the Korenica area.

"General Bašarac and the Zagreb Corps, now under the supervision of Lieutenant General Petar Stipetić, the Chief of the General Staff, who was brought in to reorganize and recover the forces that had begun to disintegrate, were still dealing with 'Storm 1'.

Only then did the strikes begin to yield results, and the Serbian resistance weakened," the CIA writes.
