Edin Džeko, captain of the BiH national football team, congratulated his hometown of Sarajevo on its birthday via social media, where he posted the song "Sarajevo, My Love" by Kemal Monteno, writes the BiH news agency Patria.
- Wherever I go, I dream of you... Happy birthday, beloved city... - Džeko wrote.
Otherwise, this song by the late singer-songwriter Kemal Monteno, who was buried in the Alley of Greats at Bare on January 28, 2015, was created in 1976 and has been and remains a kind of anthem for Sarajevo. Monteno received the Sixth of April Award in 1981.
