Questions for the Council of Ministers: Why are posts on the X account in Croatian and English, where are Bosnian, Serbian, and Cyrillic?

(Patria) - State delegate Šemsudin Mehmedović has sent parliamentary questions to the BiH Council of Ministers regarding the equality of languages and scripts on the official X account of the BiH Council of Ministers.

Mehmedović notes that almost all posts on the official X account of the Council of Ministers (formerly Twitter) are in Croatian, and some are in English, which is not even an official language in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

"Why are Bosnian and Serbian languages, as well as the Cyrillic script, completely neglected on this official communication channel of the Council of Ministers? Why has the Council of Ministers allowed the official X account of the Council of Ministers to be misused and privatized, given that posts from the private X profile of Chairperson Borjana Krišto and Minister of Justice Davor Bunoza have been published, or 'reposted', on the same account? Posts from the profiles of ministries led by HDZ cadres are also 'reposted' - Minister of Civil Affairs Dubravka Bošnjak and Deputy Minister of Security Ivica Bošnjak?

Why were all posts related to the sessions of the Council of Ministers, a total of 39, also in Croatian on the same official X account during the period from June 1 to December 28, 2025? Will the Council of Ministers determine who is responsible for such misuse of the official communication channel and sanction those responsible?", Mehmedović states in his inquiry.

He analyzed the period from June 1 to December 28 and determined that all 113 posts were in Latin script, with 85 posts in Croatian and 24 posts in English.

"Only 39 out of a total of 113 posts relate to the sessions of the Council of Ministers. The remaining posts are largely 'reposted' from the private X account of Chairperson Borjana Krišto", it is stated.

The official X account also relays posts from Davor Bunoza from his X account.

An occasional post relates to the Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees or the Ministry of Transport and Communications.

Although Mehmedović does not state this in his letter, there are no posts on the official X account of the BiH Council of Ministers regarding the activities of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Defense, Foreign Trade and Economic Relations, or Finance, raising the question of whether this is the official account of Borjana Krišto and her cabinet, or the account of HDZ ministers in the BiH Council of Ministers.

In addition to this account, the media regularly receive press releases from the sessions of the BiH Council of Ministers only in one language and in Latin script, most often in Croatian.
