Arsonists not resting: Vehicle of Pita Plus buregdžinica set on fire

In the night of 27 to 28 August at around 03:15, the Third Police Station was notified that a fire broke out on a freight motor vehicle of the brand “Peugeot”, owned by the buregdžinica “Pita Plus”, in Semira Frašte Street, Novi Grad Sarajevo municipality, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.

- The fire was extinguished by members of the Sarajevo Canton Fire Brigade. No persons were injured in the incident, while material damage occurred on the vehicle.

The Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo was informed about the incident, and an investigation was carried out by police officers of the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Interior and an authorised court expert of the Fire Protection Department.

The investigation established that the fire was caused by pouring a flammable liquid, followed by the use of an open flame by an unknown person. Police officers continue working on clarifying and documenting the said criminal offence, identifying and finding the perpetrator.

We remind you that in Hrasnica, the night before, a car belonging to a police officer who had previously prevented a car theft from a nearby parking lot was deliberately set on fire.
