SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Aida Pilav, president of the KS Crisis Staff, said that 39 samples were tested on Saturday, of which 6 were positive.
"1,551 of our fellow citizens are in self-isolation. At the moment when someone is determined to be positive, a measure of home isolation is imposed by law on them and all family members," said Pilav.
She said that an increased number of tests are being conducted due to the increased circulation of the virus in the environment.
"Testing is done at the appropriate time, monitoring all symptoms and signs, elevated temperature, and other active and respiratory symptoms. I appeal to the citizens that this is not a refusal to test. Doctrinarily, it is not necessary to perform asymptomatic testing," said Pilav.
There are seven open clusters in KS, there is data on these contacts, and they should be in contact with their attending physicians.
"The number of patients is increasing, and we expect that in the coming period. We ask for cooperation with health services," she said.
Eighteen passengers who returned from Italy were tested this morning, and the results will be available during the day.
"They are all in good health, afebrile, as they were also in self-isolation there," said Pilav.
Regarding the deceased woman from Ilidža, who tested positive for coronavirus after her death, Pilav said that the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo has launched an investigation, so all data will be available to the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office.
