Petrović and Zeba: We are playing a match that could decide the champion

Željezničar footballers play perhaps the most important match of the season tomorrow at Grbavica, Patria reports.

As part of the seventh round of the BiH Championship Playoff, Mostar's Zrinjski arrives at Grbavica, and the result of the derby could possibly decide the state champion.

On the occasion of tomorrow's derby, a press conference was held at the club's premises on Grbavica, where head coach Slavko Petrović and captain Zajko Zeba spoke.

Petrović emphasized the importance of the match and called on fans to once again help their favorites achieve a big victory.

- We are facing a very important match that could be a guideline towards the title. If we win three points, we will have taken a big step towards the title. I call on all fans, who have cheered us on phenomenally all the time, to support us from the first to the last minute.

The coach of the Blues said he hopes the team will correct their mistakes after some recent poorer performances.

- Regarding the playing squad, Kerla and Musa will not be in contention due to injuries. I hope that after all these mistakes we have made, we will enter the match motivated and combative, because you live for matches like this – Petrović said.

Captain Zajko Zeba believes in a good result in tomorrow's match and expects that with a victory, Željezničar will get closer to the championship title.

 - All matches have been important to us since the start of the spring part. If someone had offered us something like this, to play in front of our home crowd against Zrinjski for the title, half of us wouldn't have believed it. We got here on our own merit. I think we should be proud of the spring part, and tomorrow could be the icing on the cake. We will give everything for a victory that would take us into the Champions League qualifiers – the Želje captain is optimistic.

Zeba, a former Zrinjski player like Petrović, expects a full stadium and great support from the fans.

 - Zrinjski is a good team, but I think it won't be the midfield or an individual that decides it, but the team and collective play. I expect great support from the fans. The South stand doesn't even need to be mentioned, I call on the other stands to support us so we can get three points and then celebrate together – Zeba concluded.

The match between Željezničar and Zrinjski will be played tomorrow at Grbavica Stadium starting at 8 PM.
