Five from Trebinje played in five European football finals

It seems unusual, but this season as many as five players from Trebinje played in the finals of football cups in five European countries, writes the Patria agency.

Bosnia and Herzegovina international Gojko Cimirot won the Greek Cup with his PAOK. Gojko also played in this match.

Amir Hadžiahmetović, a footballer for Konyaspor from Konya, a young BiH international, played in and won the Turkish Cup final. Rijad Bajić and Deni Milošević also play for Konyaspor with Amir.

Asmir Begović, a Bosnia and Herzegovina international playing for Chelsea from London in England, Serbian international Mijat Gaćinović, a footballer for Eintracht Frankfurt in Germany, and BiH international Milena Nikolić from SC Sand Baden-Württemberg in Germany, did not manage to win the cup. Those three clubs were defeated in the final match.

Few cities in Europe can boast such football successes as Trebinje can.
