(Patria) - English footballer and Nottingham Forest defender Harry Toffolo has been suspended for five months for violating English football rules, the Football Association (FA) announced.
Toffolo admitted to 375 breaches of betting regulations and, in addition to the five-month suspension, was fined £20,956.
The FA has not yet revealed details of the offenses, which occurred between January 22, 2014, and March 18, 2017.
The sanctions were imposed after a hearing before an independent regulatory commission, and the full reasons for this decision will be published later.

FA rules state that players and coaches "must not bet, either directly or indirectly, or instruct anyone to bet".
Toffolo joined Nottingham Forest in 2022 from Huddersfield Town. He has played 19 games for Forest.
