Pellegrini: Džeko could leave this summer

Manchester City coach Manuel Pellegrini has admitted that Edin Džeko could leave the Etihad this summer, according to world media, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

Arsenal and Roma are interested in the BiH national team player, captain, and striker of the Citizens.

Pellegrini also said that due to Džeko's possible departure from City, he avoided including him in the team for the tournament they played in Australia. He only came on as a substitute in the 65th minute of the match against Real Madrid on Friday.

- It is not yet clear whether Džeko will continue his career at City - said Pellegrini, adding that Džeko is still training and working with the rest of the team.

The Manchester City team arrived in Vietnam yesterday for the final part of the tournament, and whether Džeko will get playing time will depend solely on Pellegrini.
