(Patria) - On the occasion of April 6, Sarajevo City Day, the President of the Croatian National Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina (HNV BiH) Dr. sc. Marijo Pejić congratulates the citizens of Sarajevo.
"Everything that happened in Sarajevo on that date in the last century became a symbol of its citizens' resistance to all forms of fascism, hatred, chauvinism and radicalism. Unfortunately, we welcome the holiday of the city of Sarajevo this year in a time of natural disaster, in which the citizens of Sarajevo are this time fighting a battle against an invisible and dangerous natural phenomenon - the coronavirus, proving once again their courage, sensitivity, professionalism and readiness to help.
We are convinced that the citizens of Sarajevo, by respecting the measures to combat the coronavirus, will very soon emerge victorious from this difficult battle and continue to build a better and more beautiful future for our city of Sarajevo and our homeland BiH."
