Paralympics from September 7 to 18: Sitting volleyball team goes for third gold

At the Paralympics, which will be held from September 7 to 18, 2016 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, the colors of BiH will be defended by the sitting volleyball team led by selector Mirza Hrustemović, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.

This is the fifth time that our BiH national team participates in the Paralympics (Sydney 2000 silver medal, Athens 2004 gold medal, Beijing 2008 silver medal, London 2012 gold medal).

Before leaving for Rio, the national team members will have preparations in three cycles in Međugorje. The first preparations will be from July 27 to August 5, the second from August 12 to 18, and the third from August 26 to September 2. They travel to Rio on September 4, 2016.

In addition to BiH, seven other teams participate: Russia, Iran, China, with whom we are in the group, and Brazil, Germany, the USA, and Egypt.

The sitting volleyball national team is our most trophy-winning sports collective, nine-time European champions, three-time world champions. In Brazil, they will give their all to bring gold from the Paralympics for the third time.
