(Patria) - Pope Francis addressed his Twitter profile on the occasion of May 1st, Workers' Day and Labour Day. In his message, he particularly referred to the unemployed and those seeking employment.
"May Saint Joseph, the humble worker of Nazareth, guide us towards Christ, support the sacrifice of those who do good, and advocate for those who have lost their jobs or have not managed to find employment," wrote Pope Francis.
May 1st - International Labour Day is celebrated in countries around the world with demonstrations, strikes, and rallies so as not to forget the significance of this date, when the worker began to have value and when their rights were fought for.
