(Patria) - Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas arrived last night in Moscow for a two-day working visit, reported the Palestinian news agency WAFA, as reported by TASS last night.
According to the Palestinian agency, Abbas plans to meet with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin and ambassadors of several Arab countries on January 22.
The parties are expected to discuss the "latest developments in the Middle East".
Earlier on Wednesday, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed the planned meeting between Abbas and Putin.
